About Tournament
This tournament is meant for players who recently decided to become Full Members of SchemingMind for the first time. The winner will receive a FREE THREE MONTH EXTENSION to their Full Member account.
In case of a tie for first, the tie-breaks will be as follows: direct result between the tied players, overall number of wins, average number of moves in drawn games (the "fighting spirit" factor).
Any player who recently (in the last three months) has become a Full Member, or is a Trial Member and needs a little incentive to become a Full Member, can join -- send a Private Message to me ("Kajetan Wandowicz"; to send a Private Message, find me by going to "Players" and then "Search Player Database" in the site menu and then click "Private Message" in my profile) and I'll add you to the list of allowed players. ESPECIALLY WELCOME are current Trial Members, but please remember that you have to become a Full Member prior to requesting entry to the tournament, otherwise you will not be allowed to play. Tournament Details
- This Is a Double round robin tournament (all-play-all With both colours).
- One point is awarded for each win, half a point for a draw.
- This is a private mini-tournament, which means that it is only open to players tagged by the tournanment organiser.
- Please note that this is a Chess Variant tournament, all games will be played under 'Dark Chess (Checkmate Wins)' rules - please do not enter unless you wish to play this chess variant.
- The time control is 'Standard' (30 days + 1 day/move, max 45 days).
- Games will be public.
- This mini-tournament was started by An old friend.
- Games will be started before the closing date, as new players join the tournament.
