I am new to this site and looking for new challenges. My experience is quite extensive. I have been playing chess off and on for the past 23 years and I also proudly own an extensive book collection about the great game.

I currently play correspondence chess on here,  the ICCF site and Chess.com. I also dabble a bit with Live blitz games on the ICC from time to time, but I mostly prefer daily time controls. My rating on these sites is much the same as on here, fluctuates in the 1850 - 2000 range.

A big thank you to the SCCA team on here for welcoming me aboard!  I'm very keen to deliver results for you guys now and compete in the standard chess league.

I'm happy to play against opponents of any rating as I believe there is something to be learned from everyone. My prefered time control is "blitz", up to 5 days per move, although I frequently use far less time than this. I am also happy to play longer time controls too.

I can offer advice and discussion with novice players looking to improve their game and general understanding. Just message me and let me know your current rating, how long you have been playing chess and anything else that may be useful about your current skill level. (Please note that the only language I speak is English and I am in the GMT London time zone.)
